About Us
The idea for find a protest was sparked by a simple but common problem — people wanting to take action but not knowing where to start. With so many asking how to find protests near them, it became clear that a central, easy-to-use protest hub was needed.
We built find a protest to help people discover protests, rallies, vigils, and solidarity events in their area — whether it’s protests this weekend near me or global actions happening online. Our goal is to make reliable, up-to-date information accessible to everyone, without the need to spend hours searching across social media or scattered websites.
And thus, find a protest was born!
The first iteration was launched in February 2024, with the simple aim of making activism more accessible for those keen to make a difference in the world. Since then, it’s gone from strength to strength and is now a truly global platform, supported by an amazing team of volunteers.
We’ve now listed over 10,000 protests and solidarity events and are proud to support a growing community of thousands of weekly users and email subscribers, all keen to be kept informed about the events that are relevant to them.
A female-led organisation, find a protest is now backed by more than 30 volunteers from all four corners of the world, bringing together people of many different faiths and cultural backgrounds to show that you can be the change you want to see… all you need is a little help.
Each week, we come together to verify the different events, campaigns and protests, update all data on the site and make sure that it continues to serve its community well, providing you with all the information you need on the causes you support in real time, so you never need to worry that you’ll not be able to lend your support and make your voice heard.

But we’re more than just an information portal - find a protest is ultimately all about solidarity, with the values of freedom, justice and equality for all at the core of all that we do, with the team unified by a shared commitment to a Free Palestine and broader social justice movements.
If you’d like to find out more about find a protest and the incredible volunteers, give us a shout! We’d love to hear more about you and the causes closest to your heart.
