CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER! As much as I really don't want to cancel, I think it's in everyone's best interest that I do. According to ABC-Actions News at 10am there's a 67% of rain and thunderstorms. If accurate, that's a deal-breaker right there but even if the thunderstorm doesn't happen, the rain chance goes up to 69% at 11 and then down to 57% at noon. A far cry from what it was at this time yesterday when I first sent an update. So, what does this mean for our protest and the message behind it? Other than postponing it, absolutely nothing other than giving us more time to process what's happening and what needs to happen; to write up signs and to mobilize even more people. Yeah, it would have been great to send our message today but that message will never expire, at least not as long as trump is around. Besides, I think a rained-out July 4th speaks volumes all by itself. Right now, I'm thinking next Saturday, July 12 from 10-12 will be the date and time. I'll post soon. In the meantime, thank you so much for your interest and willingness to come out today. I can't tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you! Keep the faith. Stay stong.
