📣 EVENT - Imperialism in Palestine and Community Resistance in the West Bank 📆 Thursday 5th February ⏰ 7 PM 📍 ABERDEEN // EDINBURGH // GLASGOW The YCL and Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign present a talk, discussion and fundraiser with Palestinian speakers joining us from the Wassil Centre, Tulkarem in the West Bank. Israeli aggression into Tulkarem has intensified since 2023, culminating in invasion in 2024 which has created a desperate humanitarian situation in the area. Infrastructure is insufficient to deal with the crisis. There is no hospital in the camp and medical care is provided by volunteers in make shift first aid rooms. When the IDF attack the camp, these are the first things they destroy. However, Palestinians in Tulkarem have not taken these attacks lying down and have actively resisted Israel’s attempts to ethnically cleanse their home land.
