Governor Hochul: DON'T GUT THE CLIMATE LAW! The budget has been delayed and the situation in Albany couldn't be more dire. While Trump is waging a war in Iran, the price of oil and gas skyrockets. Yet, Governor Hochul has chosen to side with her Oil & Gas donors at the expense of working families here in New York. She wants to gut our climate law in the upcoming deal to set a state budget. If she succeeds, we will pay higher bills and breathe in more air pollution while the climate crisis only gets worse. We must get the legislature to tell her NO. Join us in Albany on Tuesday, 4/21, at noon outside of Governor Hochul's office in the Capitol as we rally with our partners from across the state to defend NY's Climate Law. We are demanding that our Governor hold big polluters accountable and transition to a clean, renewable energy future that lowers our bills and fights the climate crisis.
