Chuck Schumer is a failure as Minority Leader and is responsible for allowing Senate Democrats to cave to the Republican agenda to terminate ACA subsidies. We are deserving of leaders that demonstrate strategy, savvy, and spines! Join us as we gather to demand that Schumer IMMEDIATELY resign. We will be gathering on the sidewalks at Clinton Market Collective (formerly known as Federal Park), next door to the Leo O'Brien Federal Building (where Schumer's office is located). Participants can park in the Quackenbush public parking garage (25 Orange Street between Broadway & Water St.,) or at the Quackenbush Lot (45 Montgomery Street). Parking fees may apply. Participants are encouraged to bring signage demanding that Schumer resign. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
