Capital District MAY DAY Coalition is having a PICNIC in the PARK 📣 Join us for MUSIC, FOOD, and INTERNATIONAL WORKERS' SOLIDARITY Knox Street Mall, WASHINGTON PARK, Albany NY MAY 1st, 2:30pm We're uplifting the interconnected struggle of workers' locally and internationally. We'll be sharing history and successful strikes that workers have organized around that has brought us the safer and more equitable working conditions and benefits we're currently a comfort to. It's our collected unity that fuels our power as working people to make the changes we need to see happen. We look forward to being in community with you, feel free to bring a dish to share (not required!-) We encourage whomever is able to shop ahead of, take a day off from work or school on May 1st to do so. Whatever way you're able to practice the muscle of resistance for the General Strike we're working towards is welcome!
