NO KINGS Albany, New York: MARCH & PROTEST

No Kings

On March 28, 2026, we will take to the streets and march shoulder to shoulder against ICE and the growing police state, to demand accountability and justice for our communities. When the government doesn't address rising costs and the basic needs of people and instead sends in a paramilitary force to terrorize working communities, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against the government’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. Our march and protest will include: - A street march & car caravan highlighting the "Death of Democracy" (route details to follow) - A sidewalk protest (along Central Avenue between Colvin & North Allen) The march route will be determined by the number of marchers. The maximum march route will be no greater than 2 miles. The event location was chosen, in part, because of the proximity to complicit corporations along the route. ALL DETAILS, including the march route, parking information, etc., WILL BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO THE EVENT. What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
