Join PYM DMV on Saturday, October 18th at Barcroft Park in Arlington for our annual commemoration of the olive and citrus harvest season in Palestine. This year, our picnic program is guided by the theme: Gaza Is The Compass. As Palestinians and Arabs in the diaspora, we stand firm in our conviction for a free Palestine, and reflect on our role in the ongoing struggle for liberation of our homeland. This gathering serves to support the steadfastness of our people in Gaza and honor the martyrs we have lost, while strengthening intergenerational ties and preserving our cultural traditions and history. This picnic fundraiser will be a day full of family activities, local vendors, raffles and more! To support the steadfastness of our people in Gaza, proceeds from this picnic will support Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), a non-profit that has been on the ground, providing resources and critical aid to Palestinians in Gaza.
