As tens of thousands of football fans flood into Athens for UGA home games, we will hold banners at overpasses with pedestrian access to protest the authoritarian takeover of our country. Volunteers will hold up lightweight banners readable from the highway, with such messages as SAY NO TO ICE and MIGRANTS FEED AMERICA. We also plan to wave signs where cars are backed up at nearby stoplights. So bring your protest signs for maximum eyeballs on game day! Remember, it may be hot and sunny with no shade or bathroom facilities, so plan accordingly. Bring your friends! Join us in our effort to remind people who we are as Americans.
