Trump: Hands of Venezula
Tens of millions of people, many children, in the U.S. are going hungry, while the Trump administration spends billions on a new war in the Caribbean targeting Venezuela. Another racist war that is being sold to the American people under the guise of a “war on drugs.”

The Trump admin is getting ready to invade Venezuela with the aim of overthrowing its democratically-elected government. Over the past few weeks, we have seen an intensification of U.S. military build up in the Caribbean, as Trump sanctioned the extrajudicial killings of dozens of civilians—breaking international law and violating the sovereignty of the Caribbean nations.
This escalation is more aggressive and threatens invasion, but it is not new. For over a century, the U.S. ruling-class has vied for Venezuela — not for “democracy,” but for oil. Today, over 930 illegal sanctions have strangled the economy, causing a 71% economic contraction and killing over 100,000 Venezuelans.
Yet the Venezuelan people refuse to give up their independence and become a U.S. colony. In the face of the illegal U.S. sanctions, Venezuela has held over 30 democratic elections in the last 25 years, built 5 million homes for the poor in the last decade, and continues to use the wealth of the nation to raise the standard of living for the majority.
We refuse to allow Venezuela to become the next Iraq or Afghanistan. All working class people inside the U.S. must reject these racist invasions and wars that benefit only the billionaires. We demand peace and dignity for people here at home and abroad.
Come learn about Venezuela’s Bolivarian Revolution, the brutal impact of U.S. sanctions, and how we can build a mass antiwar movement to stop U.S. imperialism and yet another catastrophic war funded with our tax dollars!
✊🏽 Hands off #Venezuela! US out of Latin America!
