Rotary rendezvous. (Gathering point for the national walkout at 2:00)

Come stand with us and solidarity as we rendezvous at memorial circle in Augusta Maine. There's a national call to walk out of your job, walk out of school, just walk out at 2:00. In light of this we should all gather at the capital area to have our voices heard and express our first amendment. There is plenty of parking available and memorial circle is to stay short walk away. See you out there. What will you need? Good question. It's winter dress warm, you'll want to bring gloves and a hat and a jacket and some hand warmers. You will also want to bring noise makers and signs. The whole point of this is to be visible and express our first amendment Where is there parking? Another fantastic question. There is parking all around the Capitol area. And the memorial circle is just a short walk down the sidewalk. Why is the event going until 4:00? Traffic hour peak is between 3:00 and 5:00. Being at memorial circle between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 will give us the opportunity to have maximum visibility. Safety notice. We will be gathering on the sidewalk It is important to stay out of the road. It is also important to not impede the walkways for others to be able to walk by. No weapons of any kind please. I cannot emphasize this part enough. The last thing we want to do is give an opportunity to officials to utilize against us as a means of safety regulations. Stay hydrated. Yes it's cold out I'm aware of this. It is still important for you to consume liquids and water regularly. Please stay hydrated as your body will burn easily thretimeses the amount of calories standing in the cold. See you guys out there
