This Black August we study the conditions facing the Pendleton 2 and their fight for freedom, the historical development of prisons and political prisoners in the U.S., and finally we will honor the roots of Black August with a reading of George Jackson’s “Blood in my Eye.” 📍Austin Liberation Center (501 Pedernales) 🗓️Sunday, August 24 & 31 🕑 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm 🍿Snacks provided
