No consolidations. No censorship. Public universities and community colleges across Texas are being used as toys for political games. We're here to tell them: the futures of our students are not things to be played with. Join us on April 13th with AFT president Randi Weingarten, AAUP president Todd Wolfson, and other guest speakers for a march and rally at the Capitol. We're kicking off AFT-AAUP's campaign "Higher Education: Saving Lives, Building Futures, and Powering the Economy." We won't stand idly by while our students' freedom to learn is stripped away. We are meeting at the Littlefield Fountain on the UT Austin campus at 2 pm, and marching at 2:30 pm. We will arrive at the Capitol South Steps around 3 pm.
