Every Friday at 6pm, join Baltimore PSL and volunteers from @baltimoreliberationcenter to organize against the Moore-Scott state police surge to Baltimore. Since September, we have developed and conducted Know Your Rights trainings focused on Terry stops, and have done hours of outreach speaking to neighbors in what the governor and mayor have called “high risk areas,” where they use the claims of high crime to justify occupation by BPD, and now the state police. While the politicians spend millions more on police to occupy our neighborhoods, our neighbors are unhoused, people have medical debt, and children go hungry. It’s up to us to build power to demand what we actually need. We struggle against the occupation, and for the city we deserve. Let’s build people power and organize together.
