On Friday, March 6th, Kundiman will present a featured event at AWP called “Towards a Liberatory Literature: A Palestinian Voices Reading and Conversation” featuring writers and artists Sarah Aziza (@sarahazizawrites) and Fargo Nissim Tbakhi (@youknowfargo), moderated by leena aboutaleb (@leena.jpeg). The event will take place in Ballroom I, Level 400 of the Baltimore Convention Center from 10:35 AM–11:50 AM ET. This panel will discuss the role of writers in displaced diaspora communities, how literature can disrupt narratives of empire and colonialism, and the histories of cross-community solidarities.
