This a local Indivisible event! Join the CCDP as we acknowledge the damage the Trump administration is causing to our country , its people and environment- and learn how we can offset these effects with action and participation. We plan to showcase what the Democratic Party is about and how we hold on to the belief of Liberty and Justice for ALL! All political affiliations are welcome Jonah Garson, first Vice Chair of NCDP will be one of our featured speakers,along with Chris Schulte, who is running against NC Representative Greg Murphy for N.C Congressional District 3. Isaac Clowers will provide us with some amazing music. There will be a variety of organizations and resources that will be shared through tabling. Bring signs in support of Public Education, Human Rights, Environment, Immigrants, Voting Rights, LGBTQ rights, Reproductive Rights , Healthcare, and more! There are so many things under attack! At the conclusion of the program we'll gather to greet passing cars with our signs and voices staying off the sidewalks and streets. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
