March Against Femicide Epidemic

ROSA NI

Brilliant article in the Belfast telegraph by Véronique Altglas challenging the ‘not all men’ line of argument espoused by Malachi O’Doherty in a recent article about the murder of Natalie McNally (unbelievably!!!) titled ‘Why should I feel ashamed for what others have done? There are violent men, warped and damaged, but they are the exception’ 😡 The tone deafness beggars belief… 🫠 imagine writing such absolute drivel while so many others are asking much deeper questions about why our society is so particularly plagued by the scourge of Femicide and what can we do about it! 98% of women in NI have experienced some form of abuse - that tells you all you need to know. It’s not monsters. It’s an epidemic of male violence against women. March with us on April 25 in Belfast against the femicide epidemic - to challenge the normalisation of rampant misogyny and harmful attitudes which would have us believe perpetrators of abuse are ‘monsters’. #endviolenceagainstwomen #niunamenos #notonemore #endgenderviolence
