Grieving Doves

8th Walk of Grief.

The Grieving Doves invite you to the 8th Walk of Grief. Start Rosenthaler Platz, 1pm The Grieving Doves, an informal and ever-growing collective, invite you to join the 8th Walk of Grief on Sunday, November 16 . The March is a silent procession to create space for mourning the Palestinians killed in Gaza, lives that continue to be ignored and rendered invisible within German society. The walk will begin at Rosenthaler Platz and move toward Unter den Linden, unfolding as a collective act of remembrance, tenderness, and resistance. Along the way, a new kind of memorial will be revealed, inviting those in pain to come together in an act of collective mourning. The procession will be accompanied by poetry, song, gentle music, and the presence of “Filastin,” a giant peace dove that honors those who have been killed in Gaza. For those who have not yet met The Grieving Doves: the collective emerged in response to the profound despair caused by the genocide in Gaza and gathers around 200 people. It offers a space where grief becomes visible and where mourning itself becomes a form of resistance.
