We are happy to announce a series of events in the arising spring season, this time shedding light on the situation of the healthcare system in Gaza and on community care here in Berlin. The complete destruction of Gazas healthcare system has lead to a loss of medical infrastructure and, a many times more harmful, a loss of skilled medical personell. As the genocide has not ended with the proclaimed „ceasefire“, Gazans are already at work trying rebuild infrastructures and continue their studies with the means they have at hand. But only the combined effort of Gazans inside the strip and the people of the world, is a speedy reconstruction of the healthcare system possible. With this fundraiser we want to support Gazan medical students in Egypt, who are unable to pay their university tuition fees (3000 USD/year/student) since the genocidal war on their families inside Gaza began, they are therefore unable to complete their studies. While getting together to support Gazas healthcare system from abroad, we want to use this space to reconnect with each other, learn from and with each other and maintain resilience in our communities. With the escalating violence in Libanon, Iran, Sudan, Congo and the increasing volume of the war drums in our own neighborhoods it is becoming essential that we stay in direct and PERSONAL exchange. We want to offer various workshops and activities around the field of health to continue learning about topics that are of concern for us in Berlin and abroad. 1. Lets come together to celebrate the end of Ramadan with the sweet festival (Eid al fitr) and proof ourselves and the world that togetherness and humanity exists despite the insanity of nations leaders.
