You are warmly invited to an evening with Sireen Sawalha, author of My Brother, My Land. Born in the village of Kufr Rai in Jenin, Palestine, Sireen Sawalha carries with her the rich history and lived experiences of her homeland. Since moving to the United States in 1990, she has dedicated her life to education, earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Rider University and being recognized by Cornell University in 2022 for her outstanding contributions to teaching. Beyond the classroom, Sireen is a passionate chef and a powerful storyteller. Through her work, she shares personal and family experiences of life under occupation, offering deep insight into Palestinian culture, resilience and the ongoing struggle for freedom. Join us for a special evening of conversation, reflection and storytelling about her book My Brother, My Land.
