In advance of their trial in Stuttgart starting this spring, the Ulm5 will be the subject of a presentation and panel discussion comprising family members visiting from the UK and Ireland as well as Berlin-based attorneys and comrades. The five friends have been held in pre-trial detention since September 2025 for their activism against Elbit Systems and its role in the Gaza genocide. Expect an overview from legal and everyday perspectives, including the prisoners’ mistreatment, ways to show solidarity, and what to expect in the coming months as the court considers the case. The presentation and panel will directly follow a fundraiser for the medical system in Gaza: from 11:00 until 18:00 there will be Palestinian crafts, food, market, activities for children, a collective grieving session, a first-aid workshop and free health counseling.
