NO KINGS Bexley

No Kings

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. On March 28, from 1 pm - 2 pm we will join millions across the country to say loud and clear: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. Please check in at the corner of S. Drexel Ave. and E. Broad St. around 1 pm with one of our volunteers wearing safety vests for protest instructions. Please bring: your friends and family members to this peaceful, family friendly protest. Water, a sign, and positive energy are always welcome. Yellow is the color of protest, so if you have a yellow shirt, hat, or bandana - wear it! (And if you have a giant dinosaur costume, that would be great to wear, too!) Parking is available on the residential streets close to East Broad Street. Please consider having lunch at one of Bexley's restaurants on Main Street and then join the protest on E. Broad Street. Following our Bexley protest, consider joining the large Columbus protest at the Statehouse which begins at 4:00 pm. On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Let’s make our movement impossible to ignore with our chants and noise and joy. Join us. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
