Palestine Cinema Days

πŸŽ¬πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΈJenin Jenin Film Screening in Birmingham - Nov 2nd Join us as we film screen Jenin Jenin by Mohammad Bakri on November 2nd, 4pm in Birmingham, followed by a discussion on the current moment in Jenin, Palestine. As part of Palestine Cinema Days across the globe by @filmlabpalestine , we will be joining many groups and organisations holding hundreds of filmscreenings globally in a firm and powerful act of solidarity and unity to keep the Palestinian struggle alive, and for us to be the ones telling our stories. Jenin Jenin takes place in 2002, showcasing the resistance of the Palestinian people in Jenin Camp while the zionist entity forces razed large parts of the camp to the ground, killing and imprisoning large numbers of Palestinians. This film is a testimony of Palestinian men, women and children in powerful demonstrations of resistance that still float as clips online until this day. It is a clear visual proof of the fact that Jenin and its camp will always rise up from between the rubble and destruction, a proof of the fact that wherever and whenever there is occupation and oppression there is struggle and resistance. 🎬 Jenin Jenin πŸ•“ 4:00pm πŸ—“ 2nd of November πŸ“The Old Print Works, Balsall Heath, B12 9AH Limited tickets available (free event), please book yours using the link in our bio: https://buytickets.at/youthfrontforpalestine1/1896777 See you there! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΈπŸ”» #PalestineCinemaDays #PCD2025 #FilmlabPalestine #FLP #freepalestine #birmingham #YFFP
