Join us in this Europe-wide protest on December 12 against EU’s complicity in genocide!!!! Between 2021 and 2024 alone, Israeli universities, companies — including those linked to the military-industrial complex — the Israeli military, and various state institutions received a total of €1.1 billion through the EU’s Horizon research funding program. In stark contrast to its approach toward Russia, the EU continues to transfer funds to Israel to this day, despite more than two years of genocide and ongoing violations of international law. By remaining involved in Horizon Europe research projects with Israeli institutions, European universities are contributing to the normalization of this support for genocide. That is why students from across Europe have united to speak out against the complicity of their governments and universities. We call on the EU, Germany, and our academic institutions to end this complicity and to stand with us in opposing genocide and the occupation of Palestine!!!!!
