Jamaica Plain for Palestine
JP for Palestine weekly meeting
JP for Palestine weekly meeting this Sunday, January 11 from 4-5:30 pm at First Baptist Church, 633 Centre St, Jamaica Plain.
Amidst the rage and grief that we are all feeling after ICE murdered Renee Good this week, and the frustration that people haven’t felt the same rage over the murders of Black and Indigenous people around the world, we as JP4P want to take time to reflect on how we can turn our feelings into collective power. At this week’s meeting, we’re going to be discussing community responses to incidents of state violence. We'll be planning actions we can take as a community and discussing what skills we need to build as well as how to address grievances we have with the current movement.
Hang around after for a community standout in front of the church from 5:30-6:30pm. Bring flags, keffiyehs, signs and pots/pans🇵🇸✊🏼
‼️Consider wearing masks and non-descript clothing to prevent doxxing while at the standout.
Food and drinks to share are welcome but please be mindful of allergies. Masks required indoors 😷❤️
