The March for Trans Futures is powered by a broad, intersectional coalition of organizers, advocates, healthcare defenders, mutual aid groups, labor organizers, abolitionists, and community leaders who understand that trans liberation is inseparable from racial, economic, disability, and migrant justice. We are coming together because our rights are under attack and because solidarity and collective action is how we protect our communities when institutions fall behind. We’re calling on our leaders to step up and protect our healthcare with the Trans Healthcare Shield. This legislative package is designed to strengthen access to gender affirming care, create public healthcare options in Boston, protect abortion and gender affirming care providers from identification and harassment, and strengthen our civil rights.
