In front of the entrance to Warren and Markey s offices, we will hold our Women in Black protest. Women in Black are an old peace organization started by Palestinian and Israeli Jewish women in 1988 after the first intifada. They wanted to draw attention to death and misery caused by wars in Israel and include a spotlight on war crimes such as kidnapping and rape, leveled against women. My friends started a Women in Black group 9 October 1991.
