JP4P at Wake Up the Earth Festival Parade

Jamaica Plain for Palestine

Join JP4P in the Wake Up the Earth festival parade on Saturday, May 2! πŸ‘«Line up at 10:30am in front of Curtis Hall Community Center with your keffiyehs, flags, signs and loud and proud voices! πŸ‰ 🌿 After, stop by our table for stickers, flyers, and kid-friendly activities from 12-6pm in the Southwest Corridor near Stonybrook T stop on the Orange Line. πŸš‹ 🌺 We will be making poppy seed balls! The poppy flower is a symbol of Palestinian connection to their land and a symbol of steadfast resistance against israeli occupation and violence πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ 🌍 Wake Up The Earth started as a grassroots movement against redlining, environmental degradation, and the decimation of our communities and continues today as a strong reminder of what can happen when we organize in our communities. ❀️ ✊We’re proud to carry that legacy forward in our struggles for Palestinian liberation. No more destruction of land, no more bombs and no more death! Ecocide is a tool in the Palestinian genocide currently carried out by israel and caring about Palestine is caring about the environment. 🍊🌺🌱
