#Stand4Democracy in Bothell!

North Seattle Progressives

Welcome to Bothell's weekly #Stand4Democracy street rally! We'll gather weekly in community with others in a peaceful street rally to defend democracy every Saturday from 11am to noon, at the intersection of WA State Hwys 522 & 527 (Bothell Landing area). Bring your own sign or borrow a sign from our organizers. We’ll sometimes be joined by a percussion band, and for all rallies that coincide with a national (No Kings) event- including March 28- we will also collect food for local donation centers. Please register! When you register with Mobilize, and you complete the quick after event survey, you are counted in the total attending! Please share information about this event with friends, family and neighbors! We are stronger . . . together! This is always a peaceful non-violent demonstration. Please observe these safety rules: • Do not block vehicles, bikes or pedestrians- always leave room for others to use the sidewalks! • Do not stand in bicycle lanes, traffic lanes, or the medians. • Tread carefully around newly planted landscaping near the highway. • Do not block traffic entrances to businesses. • Do not block or repeatedly occupy the crosswalks and watch carefully for turning vehicles. Frequent use of crosswalks slows traffic and annoys the people we're trying to reach. We request that attendees: • Please review this message and learn de-escalation skills at this LINK • If you see a serious threat or injury call 911.
