Tell Senator Daines NO War in Venezuela
On the night of January 2, the Trump regime launched an attack that resulted in the capture of Venezuelan President Maduro. Now Trump has declared that the US will “run” Venezuela and control oil production until a transition of power can take place.
On Friday, January 9 at 10:00 am, we will rally at Senator Daines' Office to remind him that the Constitution states clearly that war powers belong to Congress—not the White House and tell him that we expect him to do everything in his power to stand up to Trump and prevent war with Venezuela.
📢 Where: Public sidewalks at W. Oak St. & Twin Lakes Ave.
🗣️ What to Expect: We’ll rally outside of Daines' office with signs and take turns entering the office in pairs to deliver our messages directly to Senator Daines’ staff.
✍️ How to Prepare: Bring your written comments and signs — or just come to stand in solidarity.
*Note - if you do not intend to go in the office to meet with the Senator's staff, please park on the public streets instead of in the building's parking lot.
