“VOICES OF GAZA”, an event honoring Gaza’s journalists—those martyred and still living.

“SHOULD I TELL YOU WHY YOU MUST SPEAK?” - Journalist Isra Al-Mudallal | VOICES OF GAZA 🗓️This Friday, November 7 📍6-9PM in Widdi Hall (5602 6th Ave, Brooklyn) Join us at Widdi Hall this Friday for a “VOICES OF GAZA”, an event honoring Gaza’s journalists—those martyred and still living. Over the past months, WAWOG has collected and translated over 50 eulogies for Gaza’s martyred journalists, written by their colleagues, friends, and family. The event will feature readings and recordings of those testimonies, as well as local vendors, a performance by the Palestinian Youth Choir, and an open forum to reflect on the past two years of genocide. The recent ceasefire has not ended our struggle, but rather marked a new phase of it. In the face of Israel’s ongoing attempts to annihilate the Palestinian people, remembrance of our brave narrators is an act of resistance.
