Reports include racial profiling of Black and brown shoppers by requiring bag checks before and after shopping, following them around the store, calling cops and baseless accusations against patrons. Racist security guards have been using slurs to people’s faces, including the hard “r”, and following shoppers out of the store if they don’t comply to illegal receipt checks. Police have been reported to regularly side with store employees who accuse innocent people of color of stealing and assault without any video evidence.
