ICE V/s The People | Lessons From Minnesota
African and African American Resistance Organization
RESCHEDULED TO MONDAY, MARCH 2ND
Due to the snow storm, this event has been rescheduled to Monday, March 2nd for the sake of safety and warmth! Please update your RSVP’s given the change and share this information with any friends or invitees!
Join us in a collaboration between Harvard AFRO and Freedom School where on the one month anniversary of the general strike in Minnesota, we will learn about and discuss recent ICE attacks in Minnesota and the nation, how our community was able to respond, and what lessons we can take from their organization to inform our role in the movement! Joined by Harvard history professor, Walter Johnson, we will go over the history of general strikes and state violence, followed by group discussion in which we will reflect on past and recent history in order to understand what is required of us in the movement. All are welcome!
