📣 Calling all Boston community: Join us as we support the relief efforts in Lebanon. Over a million Lebanese are displaced due to escalated violence and forced evacuation, almost 20% of the population— the largest displaced crisis in the nation’s history. ❤️ Help support the sumud (steadfastness) of our people through mutual aid funds, which will directly go towards shelter, food, water and medical needs. 🇱🇧 All the donations raised from the fundraiser will go to mutual aid, grass-root organizations in Lebanon. 📿 The dabke workshop will hold both basic and new steps, so all levels are welcome! 🪩 Workshop given by Samer & Sima Bou Jawde— Dabke Siblings— long-time Lebanese dancers passionate in movement for social justice 🧿 The donations are sliding scale, pay what you can!
