Candle Vigil and Die-in Protest
Finger Lakes Region Makers Collective
On Sunday, Feb 15th, starting at 4PM, members of the local community will gather for a vigil and a peaceful protest against the Violence of ICE/CBP/ and other Federal Agencies outside the office of Rep. Claudia Tenney in Canandaigua, NY. The event aims to honor those affected and emphasize resistance to this behavior as the “new” normal.
The demonstration will include a candlelight vigil, reading of a list of names and a symbolic die-in, followed by a general protest.
Parking is available on nearby side streets Kepner Rd. and Aroline Rd. Parking is restricted in the plaza, and cars may be towed.
