8 March | 3–5 pm Alexander Sinton High School Athlone On International Women’s Day, we come together to listen, reflect and bear witness to the voices and lived experiences of women surviving in the shadow of genocide and violence — in South Africa, the Congo, Palestine, and other conflict-affected regions. Held during Ramadaan and Lent, this gathering will be solemn and contemplative, creating space for quiet reflection, shared humanity, and gentle solidarity. We honour women’s pain, resilience and courage and we stand with them. A space of remembrance. A space of dignity. A space of hope. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items. All donations will be collected and donated to GotG.
