Flat River Indivisible is helping to collect donated non-food items from August 27th to September 24th for our local Food Pantry located at St. Mary's Catholic Church. This event is being held to bring awareness to the need for these items and the Rally on September 5th is intended to focus on the recent cuts to SNAP. Donation Boxes will be located at various businesses in Carson City, Michigan, and we will have boxes available for donations at the Rally as well. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
