When BILLIONAIRES BREAK EVERY RULE... it takes ALL OF OUR COLLECTIVE STRENGTH to stop them! Our Demands for May 1st: TAX THE RICH, FAMILIES COME FIRST. NO ICE. NO WAR. NO PRIVATE ARMY. DEMOCRACY, NOT CORPORATE CONTROL. HANDS OFF OUR VOTE! TOGETHER we will show our unity through a day of marches, rallies, and actions including... NO WORK. NO SCHOOL. NO SHOPPING. SAFETY: We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you bring any medications, sunscreen, snacks, and drinks. IMPORTANTLY... we MUST stay on sidewalks, however if you get tired you may sit down, or walk over to a local business. FINALLY... BE SURE NOT CROWD AREAS, especially with your vehicles. MASK/DISABLED SAFETY: This event takes into consideration people with a weak immune system/immunocompromised people, so IF you can, be sure to wear a mask. HOWEVER, if that's not an option, we'll have masks handed out at the event. Though furthermore, if you really can't wear a mask, or don't want to, we will have people to guide you to the other corner of the sidewalk, where it'll be the same event, just sperated for SAFETY. Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
