Nearly 200 million working people exercise their economic power around the holidays. This year we're telling big corporations backing this regime We Ain’t Buying It! Instead, we’ll put our money where it will do the most good. We’ll spend it in our communities, at Black and brown owned businesses, and at retailers who have shown they stand with workers, not with the rich and powerful. Stores like Starbucks (where workers are ACTIVELY striking!), Amazon, Target, and Home Depot have contributed to weakening our democracy and pose a threat to our worker power. They’ve attacked our communities, bent to this harmful regime, and carry the union-buster badge with pride. Collectively, we can hit them where it hurts—if only we put our money where our values are. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
