Starting April 2, we’ll be partnering with our friend @welcometojaffa on several screenings of the film @palestine36film @esquiretheatre. It stars Jeremy Irons and Hiam Abbass, who played Marcia on Succession. @annamariajacir directed it. It’s rare for a Palestinian film to receive such a wide theatrical release. It’s the first film to shoot in Palestine since the beginning of the current genocide. In January, the Israeli police raided a screening in Jerusalem. They banned the film and detained the projectionist for terrorism—all the more reason to support this film.
