This is a peaceful protest in an open outdoor space. Bring signs, banners, flags. We play background music. We wave, smile, hold up our signs. We don’t engage with people who disagree. We don’t yell at people who give us the thumbs down or other fingers! The majority of passers by are happy to see us! This a local Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
