Team Coburg, OR Peaceful Protest for Democracy We stand together to defend our democracy and remind our fellow citizens about what is happening in our country under the current administration. We carry our signs, we smile, we wave. We don’t yell at or respond negatively to passers by who might flip us off or shout at us. We don’t engage with them or argue. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
