This a local Coos County Indivisible event! We plan to meet at The Coos Bay Boardwalk and the blocks surrounding Northbound and Southbound Hwy 101 in the Downtown district. We have a party style PA system and signs to lend out. Public restrooms are available at the Coos Bay Visitor Center, and there are several restaurants within a few blocks, including the one on the water below the Boardwalk. Please park in the city lots of side streets and walk a few blocks leaving spaces for downtown business and those with less mobility. You might bring a chair for your comfort. Sometimes we have wind to deal with too. Bring Friends or meet some new ones here. We regularly rally on the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
