Join us on Saturday, Dec 20th, as we rally in front of Chapters Coquitlam and educate shoppers about Indigo's complicity in Israel's genocide in Palestine. 🇵🇸 Indigo’s CEO Heather Reisman and her partner Gerald Schwartz founded and operate a charity called the HESEG Foundation for Lone Soldiers which provides scholarships to non-Israelis who complete service in the Israeli military. Since its inception in 2006, they have sent nearly $200 million to Israel via the HESEG Foundation. Funding a foreign military is against Canadian charity law (section 4) and yet HESEG still maintains charitable status. Together, we can pressure Indigo to cut ties with HESEG and help end the Canada to Israel charity pipeline. Bring your signs, flags, and voices as we say NO to Indigo/Chapters this holiday season! 🎄
