Cork Palestine Solidarity Campaign
Pass the Original Occupied Territories Bill
The government has dragged its feet with the Occupied Territories Bill and there’s every reason to believe the intention is not to pass it at all. This is totally unacceptable to us. Therefore, the pressure must be stepped up on the government to pass the bill without further delay and as originally drafted (banning goods AND services from occupied territories).
So the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign has called for protests at TD constituency offices across the country this week in advance of the new Dáil term (commencing Wednesday 17th September).
In Cork, please join a protest at either Micheál Martin’s constituency office or Colm Burke’s this Saturday from 10am–midday (ending an hour before the weekly march and rally).
It’s vital to have big numbers at these protests, so please make a massive effort to be part of them.
