Public Meeting with Sahar Francis

Cork Palestine Solidarity Campaign

Show your solidarity with Palestinian prisoners by coming along to this public meeting with renowned human rights defender Sahar Francis on Tuesday, 21st April at 7pm in Connolly Hall, Cork. Israel has passed a “Prisoners’ Execution Law”, which codifies state-sanctioned political murder of Palestinians and turns prisons – already arenas of torture – into legalised killing grounds. Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Support and Human Rights Association, says: “The law constitutes a profound violation of fundamental human rights and exposes decades of international complicity, lack of will, failure and refusal to hold the settler-colony of ‘Israel’ accountable.” Sahar Francis, a Palestinian lawyer and human rights defender, will speak in Cork about the execution law and the ongoing abuse of Palestinian prisoners (of the more than 10,000 political prisoners held by Israel, 350 are children). The public meeting will help build the movement to pressure the Irish government into actively opposing Israel’s disregard for human rights and its campaign of genocide. Book your ticket at the link in bio or just show up on the night. All are welcome! ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
