Cork Palestine Solidarity Campaign are delighted to partner with the Global Sumud Flotilla for this very special event whereby we get to hear directly from some of the mighty women who sailed and organised the Sumud Flotilla in their quest to break the siege on Gaza in September 2025. Corks own Tadhg Hickey will host this panel discussion with Leila Hegazy, Kubra Cinar, lara Modarelli and Claire O’Connor. What compelled them to join this potentially life ending mission? What do they believe was accomplished? Has it helped Palestinians in their quest for justice and freedom? This gathering in an intimate setting will shine a light on nuances experienced on the voyage, and will no doubt linger with attendees long after it ends.
