Dallas May Day Protest - No School. No Work. No Shopping.

DFW May Day Coalition

This May Day, it’s workers over billionaires On May 1, 2026, workers, students, families, and community members across Dallas are coming together for a May Day protest, rally, and march for a country that puts working people over billionaires. We are building a day of power. πŸ“† May 1 πŸ•™ 1 pm πŸ“ Dallas City Hall [1500 Marilla St] Restrooms and portapotties will be available. This is what comes after Dallas No Kings. This May Day protest in Dallas is part of a nationwide day of action to reject business as usual and build real people power. When billionaires break every rule, it is going to take more than a rally to stop them. We are organizing to disrupt business as usual. No school. No work. No shopping. From the historic 2006 Day Without Immigrants that helped reshape May Day, to Black-led corporate campaigns that forced out CEOs, to movements resisting occupation and repression, we know collective action works. Join more than 30 organizations and labor unions across DFW as we flex our collective power together through protest, rally, and direct action. We are coming together in Dallas to demand the society we deserve. We make this country run, and we know how to take care of each other. Our families and our freedoms need defending. Our demands Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government. Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people. Fully fund schools, healthcare, and housing for all. Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black people, Indigenous people, trans people, women, and all our communities. Invest in people, not wars. Take the pledge online. Take off. Call in sick. Walk out. No business as usual. No work. No shopping. No school.
