MAY DAY ACTION

DFW May Day Committee

Join the May Day Coalition this year for International Workers Day this year, May 1, 2026 at City Hall in Dallas [1500 Marilla St, Dallas, TX 75201] to uplift the voices of the millions of workers across the US, and right here in the heart of Texas. International Workers Day is a day that recognizes the martyrdom of those who died to win the rights of workers to have 8hrs for work, 8 hrs for rest and 8hrs to do whatever you wish. As the conditions of the working class deteriorate and as the rights of federal workers are curbed, while even those in the organized working class feel the brunt of attacks, it is our duty to come together and fight back. It is a day that in recent history because of the "Sensenbrenner Bill" that rolled back immigration protections in 2006 resulted in massive mega marchas across the US, culminating on May 1 nicknamed "Dia sin immigrantes". As ICE deports and kidnaps and kills people in the streets, it is our duty to demand Legalization for all and ICE out of everywhere. It is a day when our movements unequivocally come together, whether it be the labor movement, the immigrants rights movement, or the anti war movement to have one voice united in action. Donate to the may day coalition on cashapp $dfwmayday to support the upcoming plans and logistical challenges. And take the pledge in our bio to make certain that you will attend this year. Solidarity Forever Hasta Victoria Siempre #mayday #internationalworkersday #maydaystrong
