Speak Now Taylor's Friends

Dear Swifties and friends of Swifties - Want to have some super good fun on Taylor's birthday, December 13? Join us for a brief, mini-rally/"party" featuring Taylor's music. The event is: "Speak Now - Taylor's Friends," December 13, from 10am-11am. It's right before and only a few hundred feet away from an optional Taylor celebration brunch from 11am-1pm at The Original in Denver. We are not hosting the brunch, which also features Taylor's music. Our rally highlights some of the problems we (and Taylor) are experience due to increasing government and societal influence on misogyny and the Patriarchy influence that continues to weaken the voices of women. We will have Speak Now friendship bracelets or wristbands for the first 25 people that rally with us. Both events will have Taylor's music playing. Our mini-rally/party will have small signs to borrow, highlighting some of the problems we are facing right now, rooted in misogyny and the patriarchy. Just jam with us to some of Taylor's music for 30-60 minutes, give back our sign, then step into the brunch to continue celebrating. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Our playlist will not include some of her more explicit songs, so review the playlist and decide if your younger Swifties could take part.
